Saffron Hospitality Group was born from a deep love of Uganda and the extraordinary natural beauty of Lake Victoria. We believed that world-class hospitality — the kind that genuinely makes you feel the difference — didn't need to be imported. It could be grown right here, on the shores of Africa's greatest lake.
We opened our first property in Entebbe as a boutique lakeside retreat and award-winning beach bistro. The response from guests — Ugandan and international alike — exceeded everything we imagined. So we brought the same philosophy to Kalangala, transforming the Ssese Islands into Uganda's premier adventure resort.
Today, Saffron operates two properties across Lake Victoria, each with its own character, each united by the same commitment: to make every guest genuinely feel the difference.
